The social-cultural center Gallery Gabrichidze enters Brussels cultural life and art scene with the spectacular project “The tribute to the Rotonde” presenting art exhibition, charity auction and debate on the issue: Political Role of Art in 21st Century.
Opening exposition “The tribute to the Rotonde” is an attempt to display the stylistic legacy of 20th century classics like: Modigliani, Picasso, Renoir and Klimt in the contemporary art. Named after the famous hangout place, the Parisian club “Rotonde” exhibition aims to show stylistically related art works from different socio-cultural environment and expression-stylistic traditions.
The presented group: artists from Africa, America, Asia and Europe, shares stylistic intimacy and gives the exhibition unique overview.The gallery will host open debate about Political Role of Art in Modern World, with participation of prominent art critiques and EU politicians.
